Dan Gun
(Named after the legendary hero and founder of Korea in 2333 BCE.)
1. Shift the balance to the right foot; pivot 90° to the left, step out back stance, double knife-hand guarding block.
2. Step forward, front stance, high punch.
3. Shift the balance to the left foot; pivot 180° to the right, back stance, double knife -hand guarding block.
4. Step forward, front stance high punch.
5. Shift the balance to the right foot; pivot 90° to the left, front stance, down block.
6. Step forward, front stance, high punch.
7. Step forward, front stance, high punch.
8. Step forward, front stance, high punch, KIHAP.
9. Shift the balance to the right foot; pivot 270° to the left counterclockwise, back stance, square block.
10. Step forward, front stance, high punch.
11. Shift the balance to the left foot; pivot 180° to the right, back stance, square block.
12. Step forward, front stance, high punch.
13. Shift the balance to the right foot; pivot 90° to the left, front stance, down block.

14. Step forward front stance, rising block.
15. Step forward front stance, rising block.
16. Step forward front stance, rising block, KIHAP.
17. Shift the balance to the right foot; pivot 270° counterclockwise, back stance, inside knife-hand strike.

19. Shift the balance to the left foot; pivot 180° to the right, back stance, inside knife-hand strike.
