COVID-19 Update: Our community workshops have been paused for the duration of the pandemic. We look forward to offering these again safely as soon as we can.
In addition to martial arts classes, Quantum offers free monthly workshops tailored to engage the public, widening and strengthening our community. Our goal is to share valuable techniques from our martial arts training with non-practitioners, helping people to build life skills and increase body awareness to keep themselves safe in any environment.
Our current workshop series include Rolling and Falling for Cyclists, and Community Self Defense. Both seminars are open to people of all ages and experience levels, are completely free of cost; we only ask that you RSVP to info@quantumsf.org to reserve a spot in the class. Please click through for more detailed information on what to expect from each class, or email info@quantumsf.org for more information.
Check our calendar for other upcoming events and classes at the Quantum dojo and beyond.
Accessibility:
Our Dojo is wheelchair accessible. No steps are required to enter the building, and our third-floor Dojo is accessible by elevator as well as stairs. We keep our space pristine and have wonderful ventilation, but occasionally use incense and mildly scented cleaning products, and occasionally have a short-haired dog onsite. We ask our students to abstain from using scented products while training at the Dojo. We offer wide benches for seating, as well as access to two all-gender restrooms on our floor. Our classes are primarily English-speaking, but we have a diverse community available for translation support, as well as some Spanish-written resources.
If you have any further questions or requests regarding accessibility, please don’t hesitate to reach out by calling (415) 810-1420 or emailing rachael@quantumsf.org.
