Quantum Martial Arts San Francisco is excited to announce summer camp dates for 2023.
Summer 2023 COVID update:
Quantum Martial Arts’ summer day camps plan to meet in-person at the San Francisco Dojo during two, 3-week sessions of June 12–30, 2023 and July 10–28, 2023. The three-week cohort is a new model adopted in 2021 per the COVID guidelines required by the SF Dept. of Health for youth summer camps during the pandemic. During the in-person cohorts, all required Dept. of Health COVID protection measures will be followed to prioritize the health and safety of students, staff, volunteers, families, and our extended community. As the COVID guidelines and recommendations continue to change as we navigate different variants and surges, we will announce closer to the date of camp whether vaccines and masks are required for youth participants. As of January 2023, our current COVID policy is that students who are up-to-date on their covid vaccination are mask-optional, and unvaccinated students are required to remain masked. All of our staff and volunteers are required to be fully vaccinated and up-to-date boosted.
Please read below to learn more and enroll in this summer’s camp sessions, or read about summer camp at Quantum Martial Arts in the San Francisco Chronicle.
If you are interested in weekly martial arts classes for youth or adults, currently offered in-person six days a week, please get in touch via our contact form to start a conversation about year-round classes.

Past Camp Offering: Superhero Stunts “Stage Combat” Camp

*** This camp will not be offered summer of 2023.***
Who: Open to ages 8–14, no experience necessary! This camp will be fun for both beginners and action superstars.
What: Stunts! Drama! Action! In this martial arts camp, kids will create superhero characters and learn how to coordinate and perform stunt work and battle scenes that look cool while staying super safe. We’ll watch some classic and fun fight scenes from popular movies (including Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Donnie Yen), and break down the behind-the-scenes work that goes into performing action stunts.
Interspersed with karate games and lessons, kids will work in pairs and small groups to write and choreograph their very own superhero battle scene skits to perform and film by the end of the week. Kids will learn punches, kicks, blocks, footwork, combinations, fake falls, parkour, and tumbling in the course of creating their action scenes. Creating the skits will also involve character development, costuming, directing, peer feedback, teamwork, and acting.
In addition to camps, Quantum Martial Arts offers karate classes for kids and teens six days a week.
