All attacks begin in fighting stance, then step through jab.

13. Step back 45° with the left foot and assume a fighting stance high knife hand middle block. Slide knife hand down to attacker’s wrist and execute a grabbing block. High front leg hook kick, round kick, step down with a backfist to the temple.

14. Step backwards with the right foot and assume a fighting stance – timing this movement with the attacker’s forward motion – and execute an outside palm block. Immediately execute a spin crescent kick returning to a fighting stance, then jump front kick.

15.Evade attack by shuffling backwards, leading with the right foot to a fighting stance. Execute a jump spin hook kick, landing in a fighting stance. Step forward with a targeted elbow strike.
